Urinary Drainage Bag Cover / Urinary Drainage Bag Carry Case

Compact at 11 inches wide and 10 inches tall by 2 inches deep this urinary drainage bag cover has plenty of room to hold most urinary drainage bags, including Coloplast Conveen, Hollister, Bard, Baird, Bardia, up to 2500ml in volume.  I always carry two urinary drainage bags in the main compartment.  One for use, and a spare.  

The Privy Bag is lined with a 210D Pack Cloth Liner.  It is soft and Durable.  The main compartment (where you keep the urinary drainage bags) has an additional removable 600D vinyl liner that is strong, leak proof, and very easy to clean.

The primary purpose of the vinyl liner is to ensure you do not leak if the urinary drainage bag fails (ever forget to close the bottom drain valve? I have...) I stopped using urinary drainage bag covers with openings in the bottom for easier draining for this reason...they leak.  I don't want to leave a trail of urine behind me as I rush to tend to a leaking bag, or worse deal with urine soaked carpets/floors.  Emptying the bag is still easy, you just won't have to worry about leaks if you use this bag.

The removable vinyl liner also acts as a divider for the main compartment.  Allowing you to keep supplies in the main compartment with minimal risk of damage due to moisture.

Non-Porous surface means it won't retain odor.  Just wash with warm soapy water and forget about it.

Marine grade zippers are designed to be water resistant and are used to keep moisture out of a bag.  Our urinary drainage bag cover / urinary drainage bag carry case uses them to keep moisture out, AND any odors and spilled urine retained inside the bag.

Why do Auto Lock Zippers matter? The auto lock prevents the zipper from opening up when you don't want it to.  It resists lateral forces, such as from the tubing of your drainage bag, from opening the bag up.  The dual auto locking zippers on the main compartment allow you to decide where you want your drainage tubing to exit/enter the Privy Bag.  Sometimes you want the tubing centered, other times you will want the tubing to exit from either end or somewhere in between.  The auto lock mechanism will help keep the tubing where you want it.

Three exterior pockets provide room to make this your go to carry bag for your urostomy and catheter supplies. Included with the Privy  Bag are two sets of the versatile hanging straps, that we call versa-straps.  It is often desirable and/or necessary to hang the bag versus carrying or resting it on the floor.  Some examples include: when used with a wheelchair or walker, or if you want to use the bag while on a bike, treadmill, or if you are using it while in bed.

The straps have multiple adjustment points you can use to lengthen or shorten to fit your needs.  Custom straps are available on request or you can even make your own. 

G-Hooks were selected for their flat/compact profile and superior strength.  1" webbing is securely fastened to the bag and double stitched.

You can wrap the strap around any structural member of an object.  Both ends of the strap, male side release buckle and the loop can be adjusted to lengthen or shorten the strap. 

Simply open the loop, and pass the buckle through the loop to entrap the structural member you are attaching the strap to.

Repeat with the other strap.  So simple.  If you run into trouble, reach out and we will help you.

The size of the structural element just needs to be strong enough to support the bag, and sized so that the webbing can wrap all the way around it.

Increasingly common are beds that do not have traditional frame.  This mattress sets on a solid, moveable platform.  For cases like this, simply slide the versa straps (or shoulder strap) between the base and mattress.  The weight of the mattress and buckles on the shoulder strap or versa straps will keep the Privy Bag secured.

Our urinary drainage bag cover / urinary drainage bag carry case can be used with walkers and other mobility assist devices.  Here the bag is shown attached to front crossbar.  The bag could be attached to the side cross bars, or a combination of front and sides.  The independent versa straps can be adjusted so that the bag remains level even if the attach points are not.

Our urostomy travel bag, urinary drainage bag cover can be used with wheelchairs and other mobility assist devices.  Here the bag is shown attached to front crossbar.  Wheelchair designs vary but front, side, or back mounting is typically possible.  Avoid placing the Privy bag in direct, constant contact with the wheels and tires to prevent premature wear of the Privy Bag.

  • Our outdoor / travel tube covers are made from 300D Polyester  with a waterproof Poly Coating on the inside face.  Sold in sets of 2, these tube covers connect using hook and loop fastener and each individual cover measures approximately 21" in length.

  • These are soft and durable. The color matches the bag perfectly. 

  • Does not prevent you from checking the flow to ensure fluid is moving through the tube as it should be.

• Sleep / Indoor Covers:

  • Our sleep / indoor covers are sold in sets of one, and are approximately 44 inches in length.  These are made with an incredibly comfortable organic Hemp fabric.  Super absorbant to help absorb any leaks.  Hemp is also naturally anti-bacterial, and anti-odor.  These are quick drying and the fabric feels similar to a heavy sweatshirt.  At each end, there is a neoprene like cuff that keeps the tubing cover in place while in use.  These covers keep the tubing off of your bare legs.
